The making

316L marine-grade stainless steel, uncoated. Cut by fiber laser into open facets, TIG welded in the workshop. Steel that will never rust.

Saffiano calfskin in deep green, with its fine cross-hatch grain. Set behind every opening of the steel, it is the only colour on the piece.

Mast, boom and stays in steel rod, every joint welded and polished to the same mirror as the hull. Nothing is plated, nothing is painted.

Electropolished, then polished by hand until the reflection has no distortion. Each piece carries its number on a steel plate.

What you receive
Every Arcanis sculpture leaves the workshop in this box. Black flocked, built to be kept.
The box
The upper tray carries everything that travels with the piece. The lower tray carries the piece.
I · The certificate
Numbered and signed by hand, framed in A4. Ready for the wall next to the piece.
II · The gloves
One fingerprint shows. Wear them every time you touch the steel.
III · The cloth
Microfibre, 14 by 14 centimetres. Nothing else, ever.
IV · The wall mount
A steel bracket made for this hull. Vesper stands on a console or floats on a wall.
V · The film
The complete film of your piece being made, from the raw sheet of 316L to the last pass of polish, travels inside the box on this tablet.

Each in its own cut-out in the flocked foam. Nothing moves in transit.
