The Boat · Since 2020
One Lineage.
Four generations of The Boat. Each one taught the next.
The form
The form came first: a hull, a mast, sails. Three generations refined how it was made. The fourth refined the form itself.

The Steel
316L marine-grade stainless steel, the steel of yacht fittings. Cut by fiber laser, TIG welded in the workshop, with no visible weld.
316L · Marine grade · No visible weld
02 / 04
The Leather
Epsom calfskin on both faces of every sail, machine topstitched and finished by hand. Where earlier sails showed one face, these show two.
Epsom calfskin · Both faces · Machine topstitched

The Mirror
Polished entirely by hand, with the techniques of fine goldsmithing, until the reflection holds no distortion. When a weld or a polish is not perfect, the part is made again. Some pieces take fifty hours.
100 % hand polished · Goldsmith technique

The Proof
Every piece is filmed by the artist himself, from the raw sheet to the last pass of polish. The film alone took 130 hours to shoot and edit. It travels with the piece on a tablet, in its case, with a framed mirror certificate signed and numbered by hand.
Filmed by the artist · 130 hours of film work · Mirror certificate

Every Atelier Generation piece is recorded by the atelier under its number. Before acquiring one elsewhere, send us its number: we will confirm it.
2026 opens the Atelier Generation. The studies that came before are closed: no new piece will be made, and none will ever receive an Atelier Generation certificate.
